Brefeld Physical Therapy offers a range of services for both adults and pediatrics, allowing us to treat a wide range of diagnoses. Physical therapists work towards helping their clients get back to their every day lives while gaining independence. Each patient receives personalized exercises programs through specialized clinical assessments and education to ensure that each patient receives the most efficient program. A person may benefit from physical therapy services if he or she is experiencing pain in their everyday activities, has been injured, is not reaching developmental milestones, or has trouble performing gross motor skills.


Brefeld PT offers a range of specialized services including: Aquatic Therapy at the Belleville East YMCA, Manual Therapy, Specialized Gait Training, Assistive Technology Equipment (wheelchair) assessments, as well as Brace and Orthotic assessments. Brefeld Physical Therapy staff is also proudly trained and utilizes www.litegait.com for your Partial Weight Bearing needs. We also utilize www.occupro.net for your FCE needs and to get you back to work! 


​Services are provided in the home for Early Intervention (birth to age 3) and for medically fragile children and newborn babies. All other services are provided in the clinic setting. Please refer to clinic contact information to schedule an physical therapy evaluation.


Brefeld Physical Therapy currently staff three registered Physical Therapists (PT) and three Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA). We are also always glad to accept both PT and PTA students.
